Well, it is the countdown! It’s not new year’s, it’s not vacation time, it’s time to enter a new fairy tale land with unknown pages. It is definitely an uncertain and uncomfortable road…but I know God is guiding my path and there is a bigger, much better reason for me going through ameloblastoma surgery and it’s not about me.
I created a video to update everyone on the latest on my first of three ameloblastoma surgeries…and we will be posting many more in the upcoming weeks! Please know…this is a beautiful journey and I’m embracing it…don’t feel sorry for me…it is freeing to be able to talk about it and appreciate the gifts along the way…
We will be posting pictures, ameloblastoma surgery updates and inspirational thoughts. See you on the other side of this fairy tale! I call this a fairy tale because every fairy tale has a challenge, and what princess would dare to be one without it! I already have my prince…just needed the challenge to write my book, Fabulous at 40!
Yvette Ulloa
in Fiji jumping out of a pole
I wanted to share this picture because this was a huge challenge for me to climb the pole then jump out, when I was on top of the pole I had nothing to hold on to, except for faith. This is exactly how I feel right now, I’m about to make a big jump in my life…and I know I have wings and I’m protected by God!
Yvette Ulloa, the fiery Latina was born in NY and currently lives in California. Yvette is passionate about health/fitness, travelling the world full time, and teaching others to achieve success!
Yvette Ulloa has been through a journey of challenges, however they have turned out to be some of the biggest blessings in her life. She has been happily married for 16 years to the love of her life Dave Ulloa, a former professional basketball player in Australia and self-made entrepreneur. Yvette's philosophies are all about contribution, sharing lessons from her journey with others, and she is lucky to travel around the world inspiring people with her story. She has spoken to audiences as big as 12,000 in Vegas, South Africa, Hungary, Greece and many other places, where she is highly acclaimed speaker and coach.
In 2010, Yvette Ulloa and her husband Dave Ulloa achieved one of their life-long dreams to travel the world with Anthony Robbins and become Platinum Partners. They got to experience a whole year of immersion in Scotland, Egypt, Israel, Fiji and get personally mentored by Tony Robbins.
One of Yvette's biggest passions is helping women around the world to believe in themselves and have a voice. She will reach out her hand to you to help you climb up to the top of the mountain! And nothing like enjoying the journey and making many pit stops to smell the roses. The coffee. The challenges. Anything that makes you grow and enjoy life.
Dave & Yvette Ulloa are also professional tourists and ambassadors of fun. Dave Ulloa recently got back from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world, at 19,000 altitude, one of the toughests and most rewarding activities of his life.
Dave and Yvette Ulloa are Presidential Advisory Council members for the largest travel social media company one of the top 100 direct sales companies in the globe, WorldVentures. They were honored in front of thousands of people in Las Vegas for achieving the highest rank in the company, International Marketing Directors, being the first Latino couple to achieve this rank, as well as being the first team of both International trainers and speakers.
Yvette you are a guiding light to all who meet you and read your journey. My love is with you and I am collecting jokes and pictures to send your way. So many people will have an easier time as you blaze a positive trail for them. I will be praying for you and Dave and your family. Shine BRIGHT. Faithfully yours.
Yvette, You have an amazing attitude which is key. My thoughts and prayers are with you for your healing process, and look forward to watching your progress. Your blog is very educating on this news and where you have been taken to. I am certain, because of your perfect thoughts about a loving God who will be with you, ALLways the outcome will be exceptional! Thank you for who you are, and know you have many who love you, respect you, and adore you.
By the way….I am finding it is difficult to keep the body in an alkalinity above 6. I’ve resorted to drinking a tablespoon full of Green Vibrance twice a day. My surgerys (2) for the cancer went well and has not transfered to any lymph nodes. Yea! The blessing is a very dear friend of mine has written her thesis on Breast Cancer Research and works at the U of A here in Tucson, AZ. I’m now in their study at traditional and holistic levels. Seems the routine mammogram I had caught the tumor in time. This cancer may have appeared because of estrogen therapy I was receiving for 2 years. The type of cancer I have is invasive lobular carcinoma, and is receptive to estrogen. It grows from estrogen.
So, enough of my own. My desire is for you to heal quickly and publish the beautiful book this year as I look forward to a copy!
Much love to you Yvette!
Sincerely from, Carol
I was so praying you would not have this surgery. But like you said God has a bigger plan for you and I know He will uphold you and be with you every step of the way. There are people from as far away as the Phillipines and Hong Kong that are praying for you. These are personnal friends and mighty prayer warriors. Together we will bow on our knees and pray without ceasing!
Yvette – Thank you for your candor, your willingness to share your diagnosis, your feelings, your thoughts, and faith as you walk this journey. I am praying for you and the doctors and for Dave. May the outcome, on all accounts, be more than you could have imagined. God is with you and in you. It is evident.
Blessings to you. Take care!
Lots of Love & Hugs, keeping you in our prayers always. I have such respect & admiration for the strength, courage & faith that you approach life & life’s challenges along the Journey. You are indeed a Princess with your beloved Prince Dave, and we are with you all the way. Look forward to staying in touch – remember that we are always there with you.
I would like to speak to you from the heart. Upon hearing the complete story about your tumor, I listened with a smile. The first thing I said to myself was, “A tumor? Stop Yvette? Yah right!” It was such a funny thing to imagine a tumor stop such an ambitious, strong-willed, beautiful person because I knew it was just another obstacle leading you into your path to greatness. There has never been a single doubt in my mind about your speedy recovery. During these times, yes positive thinking is crucial, and yes a clear mind is important, but I believe that faith in God’s work will guide you, protect you, and make you shine. This is God’s world, and He has chosen you to live it in such a special way. On the day of your surgery, go in there with hope and God will take over. Trust in Him. My prayeres are with you and I’m so excited to see you on your way to full recovery.
I love you Yvette!

Yvette,
It is hard for me to put into words what my heart and soul cries out. Reading your blog and watching your video gives me great pause for reflection. How do these things come upon us? Why do they come upon us? Questions that I am sure you have asked yourself and many health professionals over the past months. But, are there any answers, really? We can’t explain some things. Maybe we aren’t supposed to. But, I do know that how you have chosen to move with and through this journey is a tribute to who you are. You have integrity, courage and faith. As you share with us it gives us hope for you and for us when and if our future brings us to a crossroads such as this. Life is to be lived. And you, my dear friend, are living it to its fullest. Each day, each hour will be a test and a testament to your authentic self–rich in courage, full of love and empowered through HIS Spirit. Blessings and prayers, Hugs and Butterfly Kisses.
